Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly adopts new logo



The Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly (APLA) adopted a new logo on 9 January. The logo reflects the distinct identity and culture of the state.

The new logo consists of the national emblem and the state flower foxtail orchid, Rhynchostylis Retusa.

The national emblem in the logo signifies the federal system of the Indian Constitution. The flower foxtail orchid represents the state, its people and culture of the state. The blue colour of the logo denotes the autonomy of the assembly secretariat.
