Hillary Clinton Appointed to be the First Female Chancellor of Queen's University Belfast


Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been appointed the new chancellor of Queen's University in Belfast, Ireland.

She becomes the university's 11th chancellor and first woman to take up the post.

She will serve for a period of 5 years, succeeding Dr Tom Moran - who died last year.

The former Democratic presidential nominee previously received an honorary degree from Queen's in 2018.
