India, UK Begin Joint Counter-terror Military Exercise 'Ajeya Warrior 2020’

Indian and the United Kingdom armies began the fifth edition of their joint exercise, 'Ajeya Warrior’ on 13 February at Salisbury Plains, England.

The exercise is held between India and the United Kingdom.

The aim of the exercise is to conduct company-level joint training with an emphasis on counter-terrorist operations in urban and semi-urban areas.

Over 120 soldiers each from the two armies are participating in the exercise.

Both countries will share their experiences gained during various counter-insurgency and counter-terrorist operations in the past.
