Sunil Joshi appointed as New BCCI chief selector

Former India spinner Sunil Joshi was on 04 March named chairman of the national selection panel by the BCCI's Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC).

The CAC also select former Indian cricketer Harvinder Singh for a place in the five-member group.

Joshi replaces MSK Prasad (South Zone), who had an extended run after completing his four-year tenure.

Harvinder Singh was chosen from the railway zone and replaces Gagan Khoda in the 5 member panel.

The existing members of the selection panel are Jatin Paranjape (West), Devang Gandhi (East) and Sarandeep Singh (North).
